How they work

A step beyond simple compression

Traditional compression gloves mostly provide compression. Straight Fingers® adds individually adjustable finger and thumb tension, so you control how your hand is supported while you rest.

Finger straps

Straps sewn into each finger let you pull back to the tension you want, holding fingers in a more open position while the glove is worn.

Pull tabs

Tabs at the end of each finger make the glove easier for stiff hands to remove without help.

Familiar compression

Underneath it all you still get the soft, comfortable compression you expect from a traditional glove.

The routine

Simple compression by day. Straight Fingers® by night.

The two gloves work as a pair. Most people wear compression while they are up and about, then switch to the tension straps while they relax or sleep.

Daytime: Simple Compression

Gentle compression, warmth and a soft cotton-rich feel while you cook, garden, sew or type. Flexible enough that your hands still move naturally.

Evening: Straight Fingers®

Set light tension on each strap and let the glove gently encourage your fingers toward a straighter resting position while you watch television or sleep.

Start gentle

Begin with light, comfortable tension and build up slowly. Your hands did not change overnight, so do not try to change how they rest overnight.

Patented tension system

Individually adjustable straps for each finger and the thumb.
